Mentoring Sessions for Year 7s
I am writing to let you know that the Active Guidance mentoring sessions will begin shortly. Your son/daughter will have an appointment with their tutor recorded in their diary.
The focus of these sessions vary according to the age and needs of the pupil, but broadly speaking they cover the following:

It is particularly important to discuss the personal qualities information with your son/daughter in advance. Each term a score is awarded for effort, homework, behaviour and being prepared for learning.
I would be grateful if you could check the appointment date with your son/daughter and remind them of the importance of attending this meeting, we will of course do the same here at school. The agreed targets will be copied into your son/daughter’s planner.
