The school is currently recruiting for the following Support Staff vacancies:
Caretaker (Lettings)
Cleaner
Head of Learning (Non-Teaching)
Science Technician
Caretaker (Lettings) (Ref: LET01)
Salary: Pay band 4 FTE £19,280 - £20,512
(Pro Rata £12,703 - £13,891)
Term Time Only Plus 1 week in the Summer
27½ Hours per week (40 weeks)
Monday – Friday 3:30pm to 8pm
Saturday 8am to 1pm
(Summer hours to be agreed)
To Start in May/June 2022
Duties to include assisting the Site Manager with the security of the School, to cover lettings, maintenance, cleaning and general duties and to monitor the cleaning standards of the school cleaners. The ideal candidate will be well presented, motivated, and have good customer relations skills. They may also have good transferable practical skills.

Cleaner (REF:CL01)
25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Band 1 FTE £18,333 - £18,516
(Pro rata £12,387.16 - £12,510.81)
6-months Temporary Contract in the first instance

We are looking for hard working and an enthusiastic person to join our cleaning team. You must be committed to working as part of a busy team and also be able to work independently. Your responsibilities will be to ensure that the designated areas of the School premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
Cleaning within school takes place during 1.30pm to 7pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break), Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year (8am to 1:30pm during School holiday periods). You will receive 26 days paid holidays per year, this increases to 30 days after 5 years of service.

Science Technician (REF: ST01)
Salary Band 3 £18,887 - £19,280 (Pro Rata £14,324.77 - £14,622.84)
32.5 hours per week
Term Time Only
Hours of Work: 8.30am until 4pm (Monday – Friday)
NB: There is some flexibility in the hours of work
1 Hour Lunch to be taken:
15 minutes during break 45 minutes during lunch break
To Start May 2022
To be responsible for the technical disciplines of experimental and practical work.
To deliver learning to students by providing technical advice and support in the practical and technical aspects of the curriculum by preparing, providing, maintaining, organising and managing resources for safe and secure practical work. Demonstrate and teach practical skills. Servicing the lesson work of students in designated technical teaching areas (laboratories, workshops).
To work with the Lead Science Technician to develop and set up School policies, with resource management systems connected with the use of technical and specialist equipment.
To be responsible for the control of resources, Health and Safety, staff development and performance management.
