Leaver 2013

Former pupil of St Edmund's Catholic School, Tafadzwa Mupfururi has recently secured a prestigious training contract with Clyde & Co LLP London, in his second year of University.    Tafadzwa attended St Edmund's from 2011 to 2013 before enrolling at Portsmouth College.  He achieved fantastic results at A Level including a B in English Language, B in Geography, Distinction* in Criminology, A in Sociology and an A in Law.

Tafadzwa subsequently progressed onto study Law at the University of Surrey and is currently doing exceptionally well, about to start his third and final year.

"I have enjoyed the challenge of having to balance my studies and other extra curricular activities at University.  Time management is an essential skill for a career in the legal profession so being able to develop it at this stage is a huge bonus. I have also enjoyed the challenge of adapting my learning styles to different modules" said Tafadzwa.

Tafadzwa combined his intense studying with a whole range of additional opportunities and has recently been offered a training contract with Clyde & Co LLP in London.  This was offered to him following a challenging two-week summer vacation scheme at the international firm.

We wish Tafadzwa the absolute best of luck and look forward to seeing him as a qualified Solicitor in a few years time.
