Break a world record!

Break a world record with One Night of Shakespeare.

Take part in this year’s Shakespeare School’s Festival!

On Friday 20th November, hundreds of casts from every corner of the UK will take part, together, in one unique night of theatre in their schools. We’ll attempt to break the world record for the most people performing Shakespeare at one time.

Virtual auditions to be part of this fantastic opportunity at St Edmund’s are happening NOW!

We will be performing ‘The Merchant of Venice’.

If you would like to be involved, please email either:

Miss Byrne (pbyrne@saintedmunds.org.uk),

Mrs Deacon (sarah.deacon@saintedmunds.org.uk) or

Mrs Rendle (nrendle@saintedmunds.org.uk)

Once you have registered your interest, you will be added to our special Shakespeare School’s Festival Teams where you will find all of the information you will need to submit your virtual audition.

Your audition will involve you performing and recording a short monologue (all accessible on Teams once you have registered your interest).

Your audition video needs to be submitted on Teams by Wednesday 1st July.

Take part in this exciting, unique experience and email to register your interest NOW!
