Duke Of Edinburgh Silver Practice Walk
21 brave pupils completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh practice walk over the weekend, supported by Mr Hughes, Mr Commerford and Miss Bryan.
They were AMAZING, despite the drizzly weather.
We wish them all the best for their real expedition taking place in 3 weeks time. A monumental achievement and one we are very proud of them for undertaking.
A FANTSTAIC day with out 7M Retreat.
Students entered into all activities and our mass beautifully. Learning more about our wonderful Cathedral and earning their first Spiritual badge on their blazers.
We can't wait for 7T to have their retreat next Friday.

16th September 2026 - A fantastic start to our Post 16 evening taking place in the Sports Hall.
Lots of Colleges, Sixth-Forms, Apprenticeship opportunities, including Rolls-Royce and even the Army for pupils to discuss future plans as they come to the end of their journey with us at St Edmund's.
An excellent event organised by our Careers Lead Mrs Halford.
Please do encourage students to find Mrs Halford in reception if they have any questions about life after St Edmund's.

M Band (Damien, Devereux, John Paul and Kolbe) - Friday 18th September
T Band (Newman, Romero, Stein and Teresa) - Friday 25th September
We can't wait to spend these special days, starting our St Edmund's spiritual journey, together.

9th September 2026 - National Teddy Bear Day
"You are never too old for a Teddy Bear"
Big Ted visited pupils and sites around school today and had a great time! He is happy to be visited by pupils and staff any time he is needed!
8th September 2026 - Happy International Literacy Day!
Students continue to flourish and show their love of reading in class and through the use of our school Library.
