St Edmund's Catholic School Parent Teacher Association
As the PTFA logo says: The PTFA is a group of parents and teachers working together to make things better!
The committee meet once in each term to plan social events which the families of students can enjoy and in this way they raise funds for the school. It is a fun way in which parents can forge links with the teachers.
Achievements
The PTFA has been able to provide a substantial sum of money to school funds which has been used to support the provision of a minibus.
Our PTFA has also provided funds to assist with the purchase of computer equipment, and this has helped in the development of ICT within the school. Members of the PTFA supply tea, coffee and other refreshments for parent consultation evenings and other school events and they have also helped in school on alternative curriculum days.
The PTFA has raised these funds by organising many events including:
Quiz Nights, Race Evenings and Treasure Hunts. |

| We Need You! The PTFA needs a new Committee this year! The Parent-Teacher Association is run by a committee of dedicated individuals who are organised as follows: |
| Chairperson: |
| To chair meetings and to represent the school at certain events and to provide leadership for helpers at the social events. |
| Vice-Chairperson: |
| To take control of certain events and to deputise for the Chairperson. |
| Secretary: |
| To produce the agenda and to take minutes of the meetings. |
| Treasurer: |
| To record income and expenditure and to keep the account book up to date. |
| Committee Members: |
| To attend PTFA meetings and to lead sub-committees. |
