Facilities

A wide range of games and individual skills is taught both within the formal curriculum and outside normal School hours. These are appropriate to the Key Stage and capabilities of the individual students.

Activities include football, basketball, tennis, netball, hockey, aerobics, swimming and individual fitness.

In School use is made of the gymnasium, hall, swimming pool and outside play areas, with occasional use of a variety of public facilities. All staff are qualified teachers and hold appropriate coaching qualifications.

St Edmund's indoor heated swimming pool is in constant use and is available to community groups during the evenings

St Edmund's has long standing tradition for excellence in music.

The choir and the orchestra meet on a regular basis and individual instumental tuition is provided by peripatetic teachers after school hours.
